Be the friend who remembers.

Talk about a friend for 30 seconds. Debrief turns it into a profile you'll actually use, and preps you with a cheat sheet before you see them next.

What Debrief remembered
The problem

You love your friends. Your memory has other plans.

Their kid's name. The job interview they were nervous about. The birthday you swore you'd remember. You're not a bad friend. You're a person with a full life and a brain that drops details.

The number of Americans with no close friends has quadrupled since 1990. Friendships rarely end. They fade, one forgotten follow-up at a time.

Data & privacy

Your friends' lives are not our product.

This is a diary about the people you love, so we built it like one.

Encrypted on your device

AES-256 database that never leaves your phone.

No account required

Debrief works fully offline.

End-to-end encrypted backup

Optional Google Drive backup, locked with a passphrase only you know. We couldn't read it if we wanted to.

No scraping

Debrief never reads your contacts' social media, email, or anything else. It knows only what you tell it.

Read the privacy policy. It's short, because we collect almost nothing.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What happens to my recordings?

Audio is transcribed on your device. The transcript is processed once to extract facts, then the structured result is stored encrypted on your phone. Recordings aren't kept.

Do I need an account?

No. Sign-in is only needed if you want encrypted cloud backup.

Why is the free tier just one friend?

Because it's the whole product, not a teaser: every feature works, forever, for the friend you choose. If Debrief earns its keep with one person, unlocking your circle costs about a coffee a month. That subscription is also what pays the AI bill, so the app never has to pay for itself with your data or ads.

How much does it cost?

Your first friend is free forever, with every feature included. Debrief Plus unlocks your whole circle for about the price of a coffee a month, with a free trial when you add your second friend. Current prices are on the Play Store listing. You pay with money, not data; the subscription is what keeps it that way.

Android only?
